- ADVANCED THAI MASSAGE — PRECISION, POWER & THE DEEPER BODY -
27 July - 01 August 2027
𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄
This is not a beginner's workshop.
This is for practitioners who already know the sequences — and are ready to understand why they work, refine how they're delivered, and expand what they're capable of treating. If your hands already know the forms, this workshop is where you start asking better questions of the body beneath them.
WORKING EFFORTLESSLY — BEYOND THE HANDS
Most practitioners rely almost entirely on their hands and thumbs — and it shows, often as wrist strain, thumb pain, and burnout within a few years of practice. This workshop opens up the rest of your toolkit:
FEET, FOREARMS, KNEES, AND SHINBONES — each one offering a different quality of pressure, a different way to access tissue, and a way to work with far less personal strain.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
* How to use body weight and leverage instead of muscular force, so a full day of treatments no longer wears you down
* When to choose feet vs. forearm vs. knee — matching the tool to the tissue, the client, and the intention
* How broader contact surfaces (forearm, shin) create a different nervous system response than point pressure — often deeper release, with less bracing from the client
* Precision work with knees and elbows for targeted release in stubborn areas, without losing softness or control
This isn't about looking advanced. It's about working sustainably for the next twenty years of your career — while giving your clients a more varied, more intelligent quality of touch.
THERAPEUTIC FOCUS — PRECISION WHERE IT MATTERS
Alongside refining your technique, we go deep into specific, high-value
therapeutic applications — the complaints your clients bring you most
often:
→ LOWER BACK PAIN — structural causes, fascial patterns, and
targeted release sequences
→ PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME & SCIATIC-TYPE PAIN — precise hip and glute work most practitioners never learn correctly
→ HEADACHES — neck, scalp, and jaw connections, and the sequences
that actually resolve tension-based headaches
→ SHOULDER & NECK PAIN — one of the most common presentations in
any practice, addressed with real anatomical understanding rather than
generic rubbing
You'll leave with treatment protocols you can use immediately — not
vague theory, but precise, repeatable sequences for real client
complaints.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: WORKING WITH THE WHOLE SYSTEM
Underneath the technical work, this workshop is really about something
bigger: understanding the body as one interconnected system.
Tissue doesn't exist in isolation — it's wrapped in fascia that connects distant areas of the body.
Blood flow, breath, and nervous system, all shape how tissue responds to
touch.
Emotions and thought patterns live in the body just as much as in the
mind, and often surface during deep bodywork.
Energetic flow — the sen lines this practice is built on — ties all
of it together into a single living system.
When you understand this interconnectedness, your work changes. You stop
treating symptoms in isolation and start reading the body as a whole
story — tracing a headache back to the neck, the neck back to the
shoulders, the shoulders back to the breath. This is the shift from
technician to practitioner: the same shift that turns good bodywork
into genuinely transformative bodywork.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Practitioners who already have a foundation in Thai massage and are
ready to:
* Deepen their technical range and physical sustainability
* Build real therapeutic competence in the complaints clients ask for most
* Understand the body as a whole, connected system — not a collection of parts
This is where practice becomes mastery.

𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
The course will take place in the community Gemeinschaft Sonnenwald in Seewald-Schernbach, a small village on a sunny plateau in the Freudenstadt district (Black Forest). Just a 20 minute walk away from a lake. A few footsteps into the forest.
A community that research about the question how a new culture of togetherness might look like. They practice regenerative agriculture, engage in transformative education, use natural resources mindfully and make decisions together in a sociocratic manner.
Part of the community is the organic farm Hof Sonnenwald. The meals that are cooked for our course, will be made mostly from the own products of their regenerative agriculture.

ROOMS
You will be accommodated in our cosy rooms with one to four beds. Each room has an own creative decoration topic and wonderful views into the green landscape.

SELF-PRODUCED FOOD FROM BIO-HOF-SONNENWALD
You will have the pleasure to enjoy the freshly harvested organic food from our regenerative agriculture Hof Sonnenwald.
In their Market Garden, they produce a high variety of vegetables and herbs by maintaining healthy, fertile soils and local biodiversity with a high standard of sustainable and regenerative food production.
Meat from cows, pics and chicken as well as cheese are produced by implementing high standards of animal welfare.
In our own agroforest (the biggest in Southern Germany), we grow berry, nuts and wild fruits.
